Foundation   

Taralon began in 1991 with the first litter born early the following year, under the prefix Red Lion.  My foundation bitches, Champion Red Lion's Ma Michelle and Champion Red Lion's Mama Cass, were shown for a period of time and then each was sent to be bred to Champion Knolland Red Rover in Canada.  The two litters born produced seven puppies, all of which were champion quality though one puppy entered the world of another champion, World Series winning Atlanta Braves Manager Bobby Cox.  The first two championships were completed in 1994, and there have been 34 more added to the list since.

     Purpose                                           

Taralon - Breeding for type, temperament and outstanding quality based on a foundation of English, Canadian and American Group Winning and Best in Show dogs, including Am Ch Akarana Excalibur, Am Ch Briarcourt's Damien Gable,  Am / Can Ch Knolland Red Rover, Am / Can Ch Leahcim's Aladdin at Napa Tree and Am Ch St Aubrey Boutoniere of Elsdon.

Taralon - Producing a kennel of 100 percent champion dams, most of which hold one or more Best of Breeds, resulting in 31 homebred champions to date.

Taralon - Dedicated to preserving correct movement and conformation to the standard of the breed.  Structural soundness and temperament is guaranteed.

Taralon - Puppies (spay/neutered) occasionally to qualified homes.   Retired Champion adults (spay/neutered) also available.  Breeding for quality not quantity.

Taralon - Member in good standing of the Pekingese Club of America, the Citrus Capital Pekingese Club, the Delta Pekingese Club and the Atlanta Kennel Club.
