Betty is a bitch with attitude.  That's probably why she took instant notice when she was being shown. At every airport she passed through, other passengers immediately asked "is that a show dog?"  Even as a puppy, she won Reserve Winner's Bitch at the PCA's National Rotating Specialty in 1997.  After changing coats, she came back to win Winner's Bitch at the PCA National and the Pekingese Club of New Jersey specialty shows in 1998.  Betty was handled by Laura Kirk.

  Betty and Laura were the team to beat.  Here she is her first weekend out going Best of Opposite Sex for a major win.
