American and Canadian Champion Knolland Red Rover R.O.M., Sire of Distinction

Rover's Pedigree (Acrobat Reader)

Owner: Michael Hill            Breeder: Ed Jenner

Sire:  American and Canadian Champion Wendessa Crown Prince

Dam: Champion Knolland Dragonetta

Ch Knolland Red Rover solidified the foundation of Taralon. Two bitches from my first litter, Ch Red Lion’s Ma Michelle ROM and Ch Red Lion’s Mama Cass, produced 7 Rover puppies. All were champion quality and all achieved their championship titles, except for the one who stole homebase from another champion, the World Series winning Atlanta Braves Manager Bobby Cox and his wife, Pam.

Of even more importance is the quality that carries through to the offspring of my Rover girls: Babe, Coco and Cali. Babe, my top producer and a BOB-winning bitch, had early success as BOS in Sweeps at Citrus Capital in 1994. She is the dam of 5 champions and has 4 more well on their way to their championships. Babe’s "Boutoniere" litter has proven to be quite extraordinary. Ch Taralon Rosebud Boutoniere, a BOB-winner as a puppy, won Best Puppy and BOS at the Houston specialty show in 1997. Ch Taralon Bees Wing Boutoniere is a multiple BOB winner and won Best in Sweeps and BW at the Pekingese Club of Georgia Specialty show in 1998. Ch Taralon Lily Boutoniere, also a BOB-winning bitch, received BOS in Sweeps at the same show. Ch Taralon Lady of the Lake, another BOB-winning puppy, won Best in Sweeps at the Alabama Specialty show in 1999.  Ch Taralon Sir Lancelot won Toy Group I from the classes at the Piedmont Kennel Club and then went on to win Winner's Dog at the Pekingese Club of Georgia Specialty show in 2000.

Coco, littermate to Babe, is a group-placing bitch and produced BOB-winner Ch Taralon Coral Belle who in turn produced Taralon Magical Belle, winner of both Best in Sweeps and Best Puppy at the Georgia Specialty show in 1999.

Caliente is dam of Ch Red Lion’s Private Collection CD, one of the few Pekingese to achieve both a conformation and an obedience title. Ch Taralon Sterling Boutoniere, a BOB-winning male, won Best Puppy at the Georgia 1998 specialty show. Cali is also dam to Ch Taralon Betty Rubble, WB of the PCA National and the Pekingese Club of New Jersey Specialty in 1998.
